สกุลเงินแรนด์แอฟริกาใต้ (South African Rand: ZAR) เป็นสกุลเงินประจำชาติของแอฟริกาใต้ สกุลเงินนี้ถูกออกและตรวจสอบโดย South African Reserve Bank (SARB) ทั้งนี้ ZAR ย่อมาจาก Zuid-Afrikaanse Rand (ในภาษาดัตช์) ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งแร่ทองคำหลักของประเทศ แรนด์แอฟริกาใต้ประกอบด้วย 100 เซ็นต์และแทนด้วยสัญลักษณ์ R จนกระทั่งสิ้นสุดระบอบการแบ่งแยกสีผิวในทศวรรษ 1990 ธนบัตรสกุลเงิน ZAR ส่วนใหญ่แสดงถึงผู้นำที่สำคัญของระบอบการปกครองอันขึ้นชื่อในทางลบนี้ อย่างไรก็ตามหลังจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมือง ประเทศได้ออกธนบัตรบางฉบับที่แสดงถึงสัตว์ป่าในเคาน์ตีและ Nelson Mandela ผู้นำอันรุ่งโรจน์ของประเทศ
