DKK ซึ่งย่อมาจาก Danish Krone (โครนเดนมาร์ก) นั้น เป็นสกุลเงินอย่างเป็นทางการของเดนมาร์ก เช่นเดียวกับจังหวัดต่างๆ ของกรีนแลนด์และหมู่เกาะแฟโร สกุลเงินนี้ปรากฏขึ้นครั้งแรกในทศวรรษ 1600 โดย DKK แบ่งหน่วยออกเป็น 100 øre และแทนด้วยสัญลักษณ์ “kr” นอกจากนี้ DKK ยังถูกตรึงไว้กับสกุลเงินยูโรในอัตรา 7.46 ตั้งแต่ปี 1973 เดนมาร์กเข้าร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสหภาพยุโรป แต่ยังไม่เคยเข้ากลุ่ม “ยูโรโซน” ทำให้สกุลเงินโครนเดนมาร์กเป็นสกุลเงินประจำชาติ ทั้งนี้ DKK มีความสามารถในการลอยตัวเมื่อเทียบกับสกุลเงินอื่นๆ และอาจมีความผันผวนกับสกุลเงินอื่นๆ มากกว่าสกุลเงินยูโร
