The EIA United States Crude Oil Stocks Change (3 November, Wednesday)
The Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Crude Oil Stocks Change Indicator is published weekly. It measures the number of barrels of commercial crude oil held by US companies. It is one of the indicators affecting world oil prices. Growing crude oil stocks indicate a weaker demand for oil and can have a negative impact on the oil barrel price and vice versa. Watch out for OIL.WTI, as well as CAD/USD as Crude Oil is Canada's main export.
The FOMC Press Conference (3 November, Wednesday)
On Wednesday, at 14:00 ET (18:00 GMT), keep all eyes on the FOMC meeting. It is usually considered one of the most important events on any traders’ calendar, for one specific reason - interest rates. The most impacted assets during the FOMC meetings are the Dollar pairs and American indices, such as S&P 500.
FED Interest Rate decisions (3 November, Wednesday)
FED Interest Rate Decision is made on a predetermined date during the vote among the members of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) concerning the Federal Reserve short-term interest rates to be charged from credits and commercial bank loans. The increasing rate can have a positive effect on USD, while a decrease can affect USD negatively. Watch out for EUR/USD, XAU/USD, S&P 500 and other assets linked to the US economy!
Bank of England (BoE) Interest Rate Decision (4 November, Thursday)
Bank of England Interest Rate Decision is taken by monetary policy committee members and is published two weeks after the meeting. The interest rate decision is one of the most important events. Interest rate growth is seen as positive for sterling and vice versa. Watch out for GBP/USD, as well as other sterling pairs - GBP/AUD, GBP/CAD, GBP/CHF, GBP/JPY, GBP/NZD, GBP/USD, GBP/ZAR.
United States Nonfarm Payrolls (5 November, Friday)
NFP represents the total number of paid workers in the U.S. minus farm employees, government employees, private household employees, and employees of nonprofit organizations. This report usually causes large movements in various markets, including GBP/USD and EUR/USD currency pairs, SPX500 index. , and Gold. Please beware of the increased volatility and risk that may arise due to the NFP report release.
