So, now that we’ve talked about what NFTs are, let’s have a look at how you can benefit from this popular asset.
The first thing we should make clear is that any type of tradable asset comes with risk. Never forget that!
Moving on, there are different ways that you benefit from NFTs. For instance, if you are a collector, you would go ahead and purchase your favorite assets, and grow your collection.
Or, if you are an investor then perhaps you would purchase an NFT asset that has the potential to grow significantly so that you can sell it at a higher price later on.
Additionally, if you are a speculator then you would buy an NFT asset that is trending, sell it quickly, and benefit from the small price increase. Of course, keep in mind that transactions like buy and sell are accompanied by the so-called “gas fees”. Think of them as compensation for the nodes in the blockchain that make sure that everything is in place for you and the rest of the participants.
These are computers that work non-stop in order to make sure that the underlying digital assets are authentic and also provide proof of ownership to the legal subject. Keep in mind that this effort consumes a lot of electricity which amounts to a considerable expense, thus the gas fee.
