Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP)

It stands for Volume Weighted Average Price which is a technical analysis tool to determine the market’s trend. It is interpreted similarly to a moving average. When prices are above the VWAP line, it is considered a rising market, and when below, a declining market. The VWAP calculation uses the following formula: Cumulative (Typical Price * Volume) / Cumulative (Volume)
