Momentum Oscillator

A technical tool that measures the price change of a financial instrument over a period of time. If momentum crosses above the 100-line and keeps rising, this is indicative that the corresponding financial instrument is bullish and a potential Buy signal is triggered. On the other hand, a reading below 100 signifies a downward direction in the financial instrument and a potential sell signal. A divergence between the oscillator and price is an early indication of a potential reversal.
