Island Reversal

A candlestick pattern at the end of a usually strong trend separated by two gaps. It’s separated by an exhaustion gap in the direction of the prevailing trend, signaling for potential weakness. It is also followed by a breakaway gap in the opposite direction signaling for the end of the established trend and the beginning of a new trend in the opposite direction.
