Relative Strength Index (RSI)
The Relative Strength Index is a momentum oscillator used to determine overbought and oversold conditions in the market. It is a very popular indicator developed by Welles Wilder. The default value for the RSI is a period of 14 with an overbought level above 70 and an oversold level below 30. It is a bounded indicator, meaning the values will always be between 0 and 100.
